[ NEW ZEALAND LIGHT ]


These images are from New Zealand's North Island. I spent two days in Auckland before traveling the Thermal Highway south. The art deco town of Napier was next, then up the East Cape, and finally, the river gorges of the northeast. NZ is a peculiar place to shoot, the light wonderful but dramatic tableau hard to hunt down; the country begs to be photographed in new ways.
