[ SACRED SYMMETRY: KYOTO ]


After seeing Lost In Translation, I booked a flight to Japan in hopes of capturing Japan's vibrant color and sleek urban design that Sofia Coppola did in her film. Once in the old capital of Kyoto, however, I realized that order -- or rather "symmetry" -- was an equal partner in the Japanese aesthetic.
